Our client, a specialist in a niche market of digital TV services, is looking for a technical specialist to oversee the optimal performance and delivery of their VOD services to end users.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Activities range from managing identities and access to providing dedicated technical support to individual users
- Abilities to troubleshoot and understand key systems are essential and communicate directly with end users to solve any teach-related issue
- Facilitate end users in replacing hardware and software components
- In charge of overseeing the systems and operations of a company, ensuring that all of them are performing optimally.
- To maintain network integrity, ensure that network interaction follows organization policies and protocols
- Testing service performance
- Conduct training to new operation staff for installation or new feature release
- To develop and implement strategies that can improve existing systems and enhance the company’s overall productivity
- Report to upper management and often work with other managers to develop strategies in improving the company’s existing systems and operations
- Filing monthly reports for the Director
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
- Knowledge of operating systems
- CCNA or higher
- Good communication skills
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- An ability to learn new technologies quickly
